LARRY LUCCHINO
Mr.
Lucchino joined the Washington, DC law firm of Williams & Connolly in
1974 where he worked very closely with his mentor, Edward Bennett
Williams. He was General Counsel of both the Washington Redskins and
Baltimore Orioles in 1983 when they won the Super Bowl and World Series
respectively. He was named President of the Orioles in 1988, and the
crowning jewel of his Baltimore tenure was the design, development and
construction of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. After selling his part
ownership in the Orioles, he became President and part owner of the San
Diego Padres in 1995. During his seven years with the Padres, the team
won two division titles and a trip to the World Series in 1998. In 2002,
Mr. Lucchino teamed with John Henry and others to purchase the Boston
Red Sox. The Red Sox ended the 86 year old “Curse of the Bambino” by
winning the World Series in 2004. Mr. Lucchino graduated with honors
from Princeton University and earned his law degree from Yale Law
School. He resides in Brookline, Massachusetts. |

CARL G. BEHNKE
In 1973, following service in the U.S.
Navy and graduation from business school, Mr. Behnke joined ALPAC
Corporation, the second largest independent Pepsi franchisee in the
United States that distributed in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and
Hawaii. He was appointed President in 1984 and remained in that position
until the company was sold in 1993. Mr. Behnke then formed REB
Enterprises, a Seattle investment firm, and he remains President of REB.
In 1995, Mr. Behnke, his wife, Renee, and others purchased Sur la
Table, a gourmet chain of 44 stores, of which he is Chairman of the
Board and Renee, President. Mr. Behnke is actively involved in community
and civic affairs in Seattle where his board memberships include The
Commerce Bank of Washington, International Yogurt Company, Fred
Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle
Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, and the Northwest AIDS
Foundation. Mr. Behnke is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard
Business School. He resides in Bellevue, Washington.
